SITEWIDE RULES 001 Respect the staff. Their word is the law here. I'm not saying you should be afraid to ask questions and stuff, but if a staff member asks you to do something, do it. Do not argue. Period. If you have a problem with whatever was said, PM one of the two admins if you think it was unfair. When I say respect, I mean you need to keep in mind that they are the ones that run this site for YOU. This means that if a staff member says something, you are NOT to go out of your way to contradict them. If you don't like the way that rule is, or the way they said it, tough. Take it to PM, try to bring up interesting ways to make whatever annoys you better. Basically treat the staff the way you would treat your boss at work.
002 Respect your fellow members. They are human beings behind that computer. There will be NO tolerance for members who are rude to one another. In the event that someone is rude to you, send me proof of the matter. Proof meaning screenshots if necessary.
003 Refrain from spamming our boards. If whatever you're writing about is something that, quite frankly, nobody will give a flying fuck about, then I can assure you that is spam. Do not over advertise things either. If you want some people to join your RPG site there is a plug in board for advertisements.
004 Fighting is not allowed. If you are fighting in the cbox, you will immediately banned from this. If you are INSTIGATING a fight, you will immediately be banned from it. Keep it off the boards as well. If you have a problem with somebody, take it to PM/IM. And honestly, I recommend you keep it out of IM. If there's anything on this site that someone can prove was said THERE to me, then you can get in trouble for it.
005 Feel free to ask questions. Honestly, it'd be better to make sure you were doing things right instead of royally screwing up and having to have someone fix it for you later.
006 This RPG is a one-account-per-character site. It makes it easier to track characters and their posts, and a tracker is strongly encouraged as well.
007 To roleplay here you need to at least be thirteen years of age.
008 Do not complain about the site. Nobody is forcing you to stay here. If you complain about it, chances are we don't like you very much and you can stay the hell away. You don't like things, then get out. I don't want to hear about how much you think I suck, or how much you think the site sucks. I don't want to hear about the ways other sites have their rules, or how certain things are set up on other sites, unless you hsve constructive criticism, zip it.
010 I do not mind constructive criticism, but there is a limit. Do not send me a PM every single day telling me that you have a fantastic idea about the site, because it goes from being constructive to being irritating as all hell.
011 Be friendly, have fun. This is a place to go when things suck, so don't come around and wreck this place for us by being a big brat.

IC RULES 001 Have a grasp on grammar. Before you roleplay, I INSIST on this. In fact, I'll flat out tell you that you're not ready if I don't think you have what it takes to meet the roleplaying abilities of this site. Know how to use punctuation, and USE THE SPELLCHECK. There is a button right there. I don't mind the odd typo, but don't make yourself out to be an idiot here.
002 The posts here are for READING believe it or not. That means you should make an effort to make them legible. Don't use script fonts or sizes that are too small to read. Don't use colors that are too blinding. Do not over use your caps lock. If a character is raising their voice above what their normal speaking level is, that's fine. If you're emphasizing a certain word, that's fine. If they happen to yell all the time, don't write every damn thing they say in caps please. Don't italicize/bold/underline the entire thing. Don't use more than two blockquotes.
003 Your OOC should be seperated somehow from your posts. Put them in paranthesis, or in the notes about your post. Also, do not just post OOC in a thread, only the staff can do that.
004 Look around for threads with the [open] tag before making one of your own. Speaking of tags, if there is a tag that says a members name, this means the thread is private, and thus not open for you to join.
005 Before roleplaying for the first time you must make a biography. After you have made your first biography you have the option of merely entering them into the character roster. They have to have been posted in the character roster before you can roleplay them. The roster does NOT work for high positions, or for any characters with premade Pokemon.
006 No Pokemorphs. This isn't that kind of RP.
007 You may create either a human, or a Pokemon character. If you have a Pokemon and you are a new member, your level limitations apply as stated in the biography form. These Pokemon may not be shiny, unless you want to try posting the number on the biography.
008 Don't create legendary Pokemon unless given special permission.
009 Members that create high position characters must keep in mind that if they do not keep up their activity they will lose that position. This does NOT include you logging in every day. I don't CARE if you log in everyday, if you don't post you aren't active. End of story. 010 Just because you try out for a high position, does not mean you will necessarily get it. It's an audition. If I don't think you have the rping skills neccessary to hold such a position, I will flat out tell you that you don't have what it takes.
011 If I tell you there is something wrong with your biography, do not get pissed at me or defensive. If you DO get angry at me, and you show it, I will NOT accept your character. There are any number of reasons that I won't accept a biography. You may not have proper grammar, your character may be a Mary-Sue or Gary-Sue. You might not have met the requirements.
012 Canon characters are allowed, and are in fact encouraged. You may still make an original character, but canons are love.
013 If you happen to get a Gym Leader position or something, do not think this gives you any special allowances above other members. You are, unless you've been promoted to staff, a member who plays a Gym Leader. That is all.
014 In the event that you are in a thread with people where five or six characters are interacting with each other at once, take turns. Say Jimmy posts first, then Jack replies to that, then Susan replies to that. Jimmy should be the next to reply, then Jack, then Susan, in that cycle. Unless stated otherwise by a person.
015 Do NOT double post. Don't do it to bump a thread, don't do it to post OOC. You modify your post if you want to add something.
016 The word count limit on this site is strictly 200 words. 200 hundred words WITHOUT a ton of grammar mistakes. Not writing the grammar right is just as bad as not writing the proper number. If you get caught posting under the word limit your thread may be locked until you make an honest to god attempt to fix it.

REGARDING GRAPHICS
001 Under no circumstances are the images you use to be offensive. We do NOT support pornography/hentai here, and if you put it up ANYWHERE I will immediately ban you from the site. Full on ban, like you will not get to come back.
002 Do not stretch my forum. If your graphics stretch my forum they will be deleted from the thread. If you continue to use them anyways, I'll give you a warning. Hopefully you'll figure things out before then.
003 In the event of using tables, do not let them stretch our forum, same with the graphics. The print should be readable, and please, don't have scrolling tables.

Punishments 001 The warning. This is really nothing more than a dunce hat. Nothing is taken away from you. Depending on the severity of your offense, you'll get anywhere between 10% - 80 %. The warning is also a probation, if you have that staff members are going to be keeping a close eye on you.
002 100 % warning bar. In the event that this happens then you're going to be banned from the forum for a few days.
004 The snarky PM. This means that you're going to get your ass chewed. This is usually coupled with a Warning. If you get one of these, it'd be best to not reply at all. To be completely honest with you, trying to defend yourself will likely get you in more trouble.
005 The Ban. If you continue to cause trouble for people, be it through being a jerk, a fighter, flamer or an instigator. A ban is a ban is a ban. It is final, and if you come back you'll be banned again. Getting banned from the site includes you getting banned from the c-box as well.
006 If you have not read the rules, then you have no right to complain when you get shot down. Simple as that. If it's obvious to me that you haven't read the rules, then you're going to probably end up getting a warning, or worse, banned from the site.
